| Kelvin
Grove Boys Baseball Tryouts |
| Anyone going into
grades 6-8 that is interested in playing for the Kelvin Grove
Baseball Team should come to tryouts at the KG baseball field on
June 30 and 31 from 7-9. If there is bad weather, tryouts will
take place in the Old Gym so bring gym shoes. All participants
need to have a permission to participate in tryouts form
completely filled out before they are able to partake in tryouts.
Due to time constraints, THESE FORMS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE THE
DAY OF TRYOUTS. They can be picked up in the office anytime
before tryouts or printed
off this site. If you are not able to make the tryout date you
must let Mr. MacFarlane know prior to June 30th and may come to
the alternate tryout on Aug. 6th from 7-9. Please contact Mr.
MacFarlane with any questions at mmacfarlane@d91.net. |

Thanks and gratitude to all the donors including

Grove Girls Softball Team is currently attempting to meet their
goal of completing the KG softball field requirements (back stop
and protective fence). Estimated cost for this endeavor is $8.500.00. Coach
Anderson and the softball team sincerely thank District 91 PTO for

 Mark your calendar
for the D91 Family Night at the Joliet Slammers Professional
Baseball Game on Wednesday, June 13 at 7 pm. Rain date: June
20. This event is sponsored by the District 91 Learning
Resource Centers. For details and more information contact
Mrs. Tumino at 815-838-0542, ext. 122. Don't forget to have
students in grades K-8 turn their Slammers Reading Logs into the
LRC to receive FOUR FREE TICKETS to select Slammers home
games. Contact the KG LRC or the MG LRC for info about the

Collecting
Pull Tabs for $
|
 District 91 is collecting metal pull tabs from
cans to redeem for cash. Money collected will go into an account
toward the purchase of Kelvin Grove gym sound systems starting
with the old gym and then the new gym. Donations will be accepted
at both schools. Tabs can be deposited into containers in
classrooms and the LRC. (Any extra money not used will go toward
another major D91 project.)

account or on 4-8th graders report cards. Milne Grove
student ID numbers are sent home via notices. The convenience fee charged
